The Madras Aquatic Center will consist of three bodies of water including a competition-style swimming pool, a multi-purpose activity pool, and a spa pool. The competition pool will consist of six lanes and will accommodate lap swimmers and competitive meets.  The multi-purpose or activity pool is a freeform-shaped pool that will consist of a zero-depth wading pool / play area, a current river area, a lap swim recreational area and a slide receiving area.  The wading areas will have several spray toys for small children.

The Aquatic Center will have an inviting lobby area with reception desk and fire-place providing a space for relaxation before and after a swim.  The locker rooms with showers, a snack/vending area, and community rooms are also included in the design.  The rooms will be used for birthday parties, meetings, and classes.  The facility will house the necessary administrative offices and mechanical system rooms.

Located in Madras' beautiful northeast area, just east of downtown on "B" street.  The facility will capture the natural beauty of Central Oregon, incorporating the spectacular views of Mount Hood and Mount Jefferson.
