Rules

Pool rules

  • Children 8 years and younger must be accompanied in the water by a responsible adult 13 years or older.
  • Flotation devices must be coast guard approved
  • No Running on deck
  • No diving in shallow end (5 feet or less)
  • No horseplay
  • Swimmers must wear proper swim attire (Swim suits, no pants or cut-off jeans)
  • Swimmers must shower before entering pool
  • No food, drink, glass or gum on deck
  • Non-swimmers remain in shallow end
  • Swimmers must obey lifeguards
  • Pool equipment used must be allowed by lifeguards
  • No street shoes on deck
  • No front or back flips from the side of the pool
  • No smoking, drug or alcohol use in or around facility
  • Stay off interior pool walls (Leisure pool)
  • Starting blocks are for competition use only
  • Mask, Fins and Snorkels are not allowed during recreational swims
  • Please stay off walls in the lazy river and splash down pools
Spa Rules

  • All persons are required to take a cleansing shower before entering the spa pool
  • Elderly persons and those suffering from heart disease or high blood pressure should consult a physician before using the spa pool.
  • No person suffering from a communicable disease, transmissible via water, shall use the pool
  • Person using prescriptions medications should consult their physicians before using the spa pool
  • Individuals under the influence of alcohol should not use the spa pool
  • No person shall use the spa pool alone
  • Pregnant women should not use the spa pool without consulting their physician
  • Persons should spend no more than 15 minutes in the spa at any on session
  • Children under 16 years of age may not use the spa
  • 9 people max in spa at a time
  • Patrons involved in in-appropriate behavior will be asked to leave the spa
  • No person shall run or engage in horseplay in or around the spa pool
Slide rules

  • Riders must enter the slide in a sitting position
  • All riders must be 48” tall
  • Maximum rider weight is 300 pounds
  • Riders must lie on their backs at all times. Do not sit up while riding the slide
  • Do not pull or propel yourself into the slide
  • No goggles allowed while riding the slide.
  • No combs or foreign objects are allowed in pockets and no jewelry can be worn while riding the slide. No cutoff jeans or swim wear with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets or metal ornaments: only approved swim suits allowed.
  • All riders must ride feet first while laying on their back with arms crossed across their chest. Do not go down the slide head first.
  • No running, standing, kneeling, rotating, tumbling or stopping in the flume. Arms and hands must remain inside the flume at all times. Riders should remain in proper riding position until forward movement is terminated. At no time should the rider attempt to stand up while on the slide or prior to coming to a complete stop in the splash out area.
  • Only one rider at a time. Absolutely no trains or chains of riders are permitted
  • No tubes, mats or life jackets are permitted on the waterslide
  • The line should form on the deck with one rider on each landing and one rider in the starter tub. Wait until are is clear before entering.
  • Riders must be in good health. Elderly persons, those suffering from heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, or persons using prescription medication should consult their physician before using the slide. Individuals with medical conditions including, but not limited to, pregnancy, heart, or back problems should not ride.
  • Do not use this slide while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • No diving from the slide
  • Leave the plunge pool promptly after entering
  • Non-swimmers are not permitted
  • Warning: Water depth is 3 feet 6 inches
  • Rider assumes all risk of injury due to misuse of the slide or failure to follow these rules.
  • No waiting to catch people in splash pool. Exception a lifeguard is allowed with a tube
Diving Board Rules

  • Deep end swimmers only (may be required to pass a swim test)
  • No running on board
  • One person on board at a time
  • Do not jump/dive until person before you has reached the wall
  • No double jumps
  • Jump/dive straight off end of board, not towards side
  • No gainers (jump forwards – flip backwards)
  • Swim directly to side
  • Do not swim under diving board
  • Patrons use board at own risk
  • Do not hang on diving board
  • No lifejackets allowed
  • No goggles allowed while using the diving board
Rope swing rules 

  • Deep end swimmers only (may be required to pass a swim test)
  • Let go of rope, Do not swing back
  • Swing straight ahead only
  • No lifejackets allowed
  • One person on platform at a time
  • Do not swing until person reaches the wall

Policies

I-D = IN DISTRICT RESIDENT
All individuals/families that reside within the 509j school district boundaries. Must show proof of residency to receive in-district rates. Photo identification / student body card

O-D = OUTSIDE DISTRICT RESIDENT
All individuals/families that reside outside the boundaries of the 509j school district.

FAMILY = IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS
Guardians and their children. Individuals who can be claimed on ONE tax form.

MAC MEMBER
Any individual/family that is named on a valid membership to the MAC.

All refunds must be granted by MAC management
